Horrific Stabbing at Pyrates Sports Bar Leaves Community Shaken: One Dead, Offender Cooperating with Investigation
A man was tragically stabbed at Pyrates Sports Bar in Spring Lake, Cumberland County. The incident occurred at 12:11 a.m., prompting the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office to respond to the scene at 651 W. Manchester Road.
Upon arrival, deputies discovered a man who had been stabbed and quickly transported him to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. However, he succumbed to his injuries. Authorities have identified the offender responsible for the stabbing, who is currently cooperating with the ongoing investigation.
The sheriff’s office has launched a homicide investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident and potential charges that may be brought against the offender.
