The Chicago Cubs and the reigning World Series champion Texas Rangers will face off in a baseball game on MLB Opening Day. The game is set to start at 6:35 p.m. CT on Thursday, March 28, 2024, in Arlington, Texas.

The pitching probables for the game are Justin Steele (0-0) for the Cubs and Nathan Eovaldi (0-0) for the Rangers. Last season, the Cubs had an overall record of 83-79 with a road record of 38-43.
