Michael Penix impresses with athleticism at Washington’s Pro Day

Michael Penix’s Impressive Performance at Washington Pro Day Earns Him Late First-Round Pick Expectations

Michael Penix showcased his athleticism at Washington’s Pro Day, impressing all with his results. In his only attempt at the 40-yard dash, he ran a hand-timed 4.53. Additionally, Penix recorded a 36 1/2-inch vertical jump and a 10-foot, 5-inch broad jump. During his throwing session, Penix felt good overall but missed a couple of throws out of 60 attempts.

At the event, the New York Giants had a significant presence. Head coach Brian Daboll, offensive coordinator Mike Kafka, quarterbacks coach Shea Tierney, and other key personnel were among those in attendance. After a successful two-year stint at UW, where he boasted impressive stats and led the team to the national title game last season, Penix is expected to be a late first-round pick.
