Trine University Launches New Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science Degree Program: Preparing the Next Generation for Career Success in Environmental Conservation and Health Sciences

Trine University’s Rinker-Ross School of Health Sciences is excited to announce the launch of a new Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science degree program. This program will provide students with the necessary skills to understand and address the environmental challenges facing our planet. With classes set to begin in August, this unique opportunity will equip graduates for careers in various fields related to the environment, law, health and safety, or public policy.

Dean Lexie Staten emphasizes that the program focuses on examining and improving the health of the planet and its inhabitants. The degree will offer hands-on fieldwork and research projects that will prepare graduates for employment opportunities in governmental agencies, non-profit organizations, or private companies as environmental or conservation scientists, environmental educators, lawyers, environmental policy analysts, or environmental health and safety specialists.

According to the Bureau of Labor Services, job growth in this field is projected to be above average over the next decade. This makes the Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science an attractive option for graduates seeking employment opportunities. With a strong track record of providing programs that lead to employment opportunities for graduates, Trine University is well-positioned to provide students with a solid foundation for their future careers.
