Schuylkill Tech Instructor Bill Mack Awarded Elbert K. Fretwell Educator of the Year by Hawk Mountain Council BSA
Bill Mack, a Social Studies Instructor at the Schuylkill Technology Center North Campus, was recently named the 2024 Elbert K. Fretwell Educator of the Year by the Hawk Mountain Council BSA. The award was presented at a breakfast held at the STC North Campus on April 26, 2024.
With an impressive educational background, Bill holds a bachelor’s degree from Pennsylvania State University and a master’s degree from Bloomsburg University. He is currently working towards his Principal’s Certification at Alvernia University. With sixteen years of teaching experience, Bill has made a significant impact on the North Schuylkill School District and the Schuylkill Technology Center, where he currently teaches.
In addition to his role as an educator, Bill is actively involved in various leadership positions within the community. He has held positions such as District President and District Deputy Grand Exalted Ruler for the Pennsylvania Elks Association, as well as leadership roles in the Protective Order of Elks, Number 1533. He also serves as the STC SkillsUSA Advisor. Bill and his wife Holly are proud parents to their daughter Laynie.
