Invitation to Gather: Kyle, Texas aims to break the Guinness World Record for ‘Most People Named Kyle in One Place’!
In an effort to establish a new Guinness World Record, the City of Kyle in Texas is inviting people with the name Kyle to gather at the Kyle Fair on May 18. The event aims to bring together as many individuals named Kyle as possible within the city’s limits.
To participate in the record-breaking attempt, proof of the first name “Kyle” is required. Variations of the name, such as Kyler, Kyal, or Kylee, will not be accepted. Middle names, last names, and nicknames also do not qualify for participation.
Last year’s “Gathering of the Kyles” event in Kyle, Texas brought together 1,490 participants from across the country. However, city officials are hoping to surpass this number and set a new record. The current record holds by Ivan in Bosnia who gathered 2,325 individuals with that name in 2017.
The Kyle Fair A Tex-Travaganza will run from May 17-19 at Lake Kyle Park and will feature live music, food trucks, margarita judging, rib judging and other activities. Admission to the fair is free for all attendees.
