Office for Science and Society Celebrates 25th Anniversary of OSS

Dr. Joe Schwarcz on the Future of Science Communication: A 25th Anniversary Celebration with Josh Freed

Dr. Joe Schwarcz, the Director of McGill’s Office for Science and Society (OSS), is set to join Montreal Gazette’s Josh Freed in an entertaining conversation about the history and highlights of the OSS over the past 25 years. The discussion will delve into the challenges and exciting activities undertaken by the OSS, with some fun demonstrations sprinkled throughout the evening.

The event is scheduled for Thursday, May 23, 2024, at the Otto Maass Chemistry Building on McGill University’s campus. It will take place at 801 Sherbrooke Street, at the corner of Sherbrooke and University.
