Should Apple develop a stylus for use on the Vision Pro viewer?

Apple Announces Compatible Stylus for Vision Pro Viewer, Revolutionizing Mixed Reality Experience

Apple is currently in the process of developing a stylus that will be compatible with the Apple Vision Pro viewer. This new stylus, which has undergone internal testing, will have support for the operating system visionOS, which is the foundation of the Vision Pro viewer.

The Vision Pro viewer is Apple’s venture into mixed reality (MR), which was announced in June of the previous year and launched in February in the United States with a starting price of $3,499. This viewer utilizes spatial computing technology, features a three-dimensional user interface, and allows interaction with applications using hands, voice, and eyes.

Upon its announcement, Apple expressed its intention to revolutionize how people work, collaborate, connect, relive memories, and enjoy entertainment with the Vision Pro viewer. The company aimed to create the most advanced consumer electronics device ever.

In order to enhance the capabilities of the Vision Pro viewer, Apple has developed a stylus that will be compatible with various iPad models (Pro, Air, mini). The new version of the stylus will require updated software and Apple is anticipated to announce the second version of the visionOS operating system at its developer conference, WWDC, typically held in June. With this new stylus and updated software, users can expect to have an even more immersive experience when using drawing applications on the Vision Pro like Freeform and Pixelmator.
