Chinook and Conrad Middle Schools to compete in statewide science tournament showcased on Hi-Line Today

STEM Stars Showcase their Skills at Montana Science Olympiad State Tournament

Nearly 900 middle and high school students from 80 teams across Montana will gather at Montana State University on Friday, April 19th to compete in a variety of STEM disciplines during the Montana Science Olympiad State Tournament. Among the participating teams are Conrad Middle School and Chinook Middle School, both located within the New Media Broadcasters listening area.

The event brings together students from schools all over Montana who form teams to compete in individual events, with the opportunity to earn medals. The school with the highest cumulative score will be crowned the state champion. The winning team will have the chance to compete at the national tournament held at Michigan State University later in the spring.

The Montana Science Olympiad State Tournament showcases the dedication and talent of students in the STEM fields, providing them with an opportunity to test their skills and knowledge in a competitive environment. This event encourages hands-on learning and collaboration among students from different schools, making it an exciting and rewarding experience for all participants.
