May 2 Meet Up in Ann Arbor Empowering Women in Technology

The Michigan Council Of Women in Technology provides women in Michigan with opportunities to connect with key Information Technology decision makers through various events such as golf outings, executive summits, and galas. Kathleen Norton-Schock, one of the organization’s founders, is responsible for updating these events.

One upcoming event is the Empowering Women in Technology Ann Arbor Meet Up on May 2, followed by the Executive Connection Summit on May 14 at the Suburban Connection Showplace in Novi. Members of MCWT have the chance to network with executives, students, business owners, entrepreneurs, and others who are dedicated to fostering a strong technology community.

The organization offers mentoring, leadership development, networking opportunities, and technology experiences for women at all stages of their careers, from youth summer camps to college scholarships and professional networking events. What started as a career-focused group for women in 2000 has transformed into a philanthropic organization committed to empowering current and future technology leaders.
