In addition to these leaders, actors Hugh Jackman, Danai Gurira, and Dakota Johnson will participate in the summit alongside representatives from companies like Cisco, Citi, Delta, and PayPal.
The focus of the Global Citizen NOW summit will be on defeating preventable diseases like malaria, polio, and HPV as well as announcing new initiatives to preserve the Amazon Rainforest and increase investments in Africa through the World Bank.
