Previewing Week 5: What’s Coming Up

Dartmouth Athletics Spring into Action with Multiple Events on April 23-27

On Tuesday, April 23, Dartmouth baseball will host Holy Cross College at Red Rolfe Field at 3 p.m. The Big Green lost to Holy Cross last year and currently has a record of 11-19, 6-9. The team will be looking for a win to improve their season.

The sailing team will be competing in the open team race at Nationals Spring Weekend in Cambridge on Thursday, April 25. The team has been performing well, with a first and third place finish out of 14 teams at the Central 4 Fleet Race on April 14.

On Friday, April 26, sailing will continue with the second day of the Open Team Race Nationals. Men’s and women’s track and field will be competing at the University of New Hampshire in Durham. The men’s track team placed seventh at the University of Connecticut Northeast Challenge on April 13, while the women’s track team will be looking to Claire McDonald for a strong performance.

On Saturday, April 27, sailing will participate in the Little 3 hosted by Middlebury College. Men’s and women’s track and field will continue with the second day of competition in Durham. Lightweight rowing will compete in the Baggaley Bowl at home, having previously won the Durand Cup against Yale on April 20. Heavyweight rowing will host the Lake Morey Invite in Fairlee, Vt., where they’ll face several strong teams including Boston University, Georgetown University, Syracuse University, and the University of Wisconsin.

In addition to these events happening on Saturday: Baseball will host Princeton University for a doubleheader at 11:30 a.m., Women’s lacrosse will host Penn
