Miraculous Turnaround for Oklahoma Wesleyan Baseball: From Struggling to National Tournament

Oklahoma Wesleyan baseball is anxiously waiting to see where they will be heading for the NAIA National Tournament. Despite facing challenges, the Eagles managed to win the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament title over the weekend, making it an impressive turnaround for the team. In the final weeks leading up to the tournament, they had been struggling and losing five of six games. What seemed like a difficult situation turned into a must-win scenario for Oklahoma Wesleyan.

Head coach Kirk Kelly praised his team’s ability to handle pressure during the tournament. The NAIA Baseball Tournament Selection Show is set to take place on Thursday afternoon at 4:00 and will be broadcasted live on the NAIA’s YouTube page. Oklahoma Wesleyan will be competing in a double-elimination tournament, meaning they need to win in order to move on to the NAIA World Series in Lewiston, Idaho. Overall, it has been an exciting journey for the Eagles as they await their assignment in the national tournament.
