Launch of a digital hub aimed at supporting small businesses

The Small Business Administration (SBA) recently launched the Investing in America Small Business Hub, as announced by Administrator Isabel Casillas Guzman. This digital portal is designed to help small businesses take advantage of opportunities under President Biden’s Investing in America Agenda.

In a statement, Guzman emphasized the importance of President Biden’s agenda in providing generational investments to grow America’s economy, restore competitiveness, tackle climate change, and reshore manufacturing. The SBA’s new hub aims to connect more small businesses with the resources, funding opportunities, and support they need to capitalize on these opportunities and strengthen their businesses.

Since President Biden took office, there have been a record 5.5 million new business applications in 2023 and over 17 million applications in total. Small businesses play a vital role in various sectors, from utilizing incentives like the Inflation Reduction Act to completing home energy efficiency projects to contributing to America’s infrastructure through the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.

The Small Business Hub offers guides to help small businesses access grants, contracts, and market opportunities under the Investing in America initiative. It also features resources from the SBA that can assist small businesses in accessing investment capital and certifications to qualify for funding.

To further assist small businesses, the SBA will be hosting events and webinars to directly connect with them and provide guidance on accessing Investing in America contracting opportunities. This initiative aims to support small businesses in maximizing their potential and contributing to the economic growth of America.
