In 2025, Universal Orlando Resort will unveil its newest addition, the Isle of Berk, based on the popular “How to Train Your Dragon” series. This themed world is one of the five lands at Universal Epic Universe theme park and promises to offer visitors an immersive experience like never before.
Guests can expect to be transported to the rugged and rocky world where Vikings and dragons coexist in harmony. From new rides to a live show, visitors will get to interact with their favorite characters and even fly on dragons. One of the main attractions is Hiccup’s Wing Gliders, a family thrill coaster that will give riders a birds-eye view of the park as they soar with Hiccup and Toothless.
In addition to meeting the characters during meet-and-greets, guests can also look forward to watching The Untrainable Dragon live show. Here, they will witness Hiccup and his friends working together to solve a mystery while being entertained by musical numbers and life-sized dragons. Themed eateries such as Mead Hall, Spit Fyre Grill, and Hooligan’s Grog & Gruel will offer delicious meals for hungry adventurers.
Universal Orlando Resort has yet to reveal more details about the Isle of Berk or other lands within Epic Universe. However, with lands like Celestial Park, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, Super Nintendo World, and Dark Universe also in the lineup, guests can look forward to a truly epic experience at Universal Orlando Resort.
