Schnucks Markets Embraces Diversity and Inclusion through Schnucks Springboard Program

In 2020, Schnucks Markets, Inc. introduced the Unity Is Power diversity, equity, and inclusion plan to increase targeted community support for racial equity organizations like the Urban League. Last year, Schnucks received the Civic Leadership Award from ULSTL for its efforts. The company was also recognized as one of America’s Greatest Workplaces for Diversity in 2024 by Newsweek.

Schnucks Springboard is a diverse-owned business accelerator program launched by Schnuck Markets, Inc. in partnership with the Mid-States Minority Supplier Development Council. The program aims to help local diverse-owned businesses succeed by providing education, resources, and access to opportunities. Interested business owners can apply before May 12 by visiting schnucks.com/springboard.

Those selected to participate in SchnucksSpringboard will have the opportunity to conduct in-store product trials at select Schnucks stores, receive $5,000 in equity-free funding, and attend business development classes at Schnucks’ St. Louis headquarters.
