In January 2024, Samsung launched its artificial intelligence assistant, Galaxy AI, which enhances everyday tasks through technology. This update is now being expanded to several of Samsung’s smartphone models, including the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Z Fold5, Galaxy Z Flip5, and Galaxy Tab S9 series. The update will be available starting on March 28 alongside the One UI 6.1 software update.
Galaxy AI aims to streamline and improve users’ mobile experience by providing new features that simplify their daily lives. Among these features are simultaneous call translation, an interpreter function for real-time translations in 13 languages, writing assistants and wizards, and photo editing tools for easier image manipulation. Users will also benefit from search enhancements with Circle to search with Google, as well as a transcription assistant for converting audio into text.
Samsung’s Senior Vice President of Mobile Experience for Latin America, Antonio Quintas, stated that this update is bringing a new era of mobile artificial intelligence and empowering users to explore the endless possibilities of this technology. He added that the update aims to democratize access to artificial intelligence features for a broader audience so that everyone can leverage innovative tools and capabilities.
