Maine Wildcat Goalie Jeremy Swayman Leads Boston Bruins to Victory in First Round Playoffs

Shrewsbury native Jack Quinlivan was thrilled to see his former teammate, Jeremy Swayman, lead the Boston Bruins to victory over the Maple Leafs in the first-round playoff series. As a standout goaltender, Swayman’s exceptional skills were clear, and he played a key role in the Bruins’ success.

Quinlivan had the privilege of seeing Swayman’s talent up close during their time together on the University of Maine hockey team. As teammates for three years, Quinlivan witnessed Swayman’s development and growth as a player. From their freshman year in 2017, Quinlivan noted Swayman’s exceptional skills and dedication to his game. Swayman’s mental and physical preparation set him apart, and he consistently raised the level of play for their team.
