Get Ready to Explore and Discover at the COSI Science Festival: The Big Science Celebration Awaits on May 4
The COSI Science Festival is getting underway tomorrow with a line of community events leading up to the Big Science Celebration on May 4. This annual event takes place on the Scioto Peninsula surrounding COSI and is the highlight of the festival.
The Big Science Celebration promises to be a thrilling experience, featuring over 100 exhibitor stations, each run by STEAM professionals from local organizations such as Ohio State University, Columbus Zoo & Aquarium, and the Ohio Department of Natural Resources. Visitors can immerse themselves in a range of topics, from insects to aerospace, through engaging displays and demonstrations.
Some of the most intriguing exhibits at this year’s Science Celebration include the National Veterans Memorial and Museum’s exploration of Washington’s Spy Ring and Invisible Ink, New Albany High School’s showcase of their Robotics Club and Rocketry Club, Roto’s Cardboard Columbus creation activity, The Boeing Company’s Aerospace Manufacturing display, and the Ohio History Connection’s presentation on Ohio’s playful past.
