The 2024 NFL Draft has come to an end, with 257 players hearing their names called. Now it’s time to analyze how each team fared with their draft class. Below, we’ll provide team-by-team grades for the draft picks.
In the AFC East, the Pittsburgh Steelers received an A+ grade for their home run draft. Each pick they made was very much in line with the Steelers’ style, and first-round offensive lineman Troy Fautanu is expected to make an immediate impact. The Baltimore Ravens, in typical Ravens fashion, received an A- grade for their solid draft, with Nate Wiggins standing out as the top man corner in the class. The Cleveland Browns received a B- grade for adding depth pieces to their already strong roster, while the Cincinnati Bengals received a B grade for addressing their needs, including securing offensive tackle Amarius Mims.
Moving on to the AFC West, the Kansas City Chiefs earned a B+ grade for their draft class. Adding Xavier Worthy will help open up the downfield passing game, and their other picks were all solid football players. The Los Angeles Chargers received a B grade, with Joe Alt’s transition from RT to LT being a key storyline to watch. The Las Vegas Raiders received a D grade, with the selection of Brock Bowers and the lack of a quarterback pick being notable issues. The Denver Broncos received a D grade as well, with reaching for Bo Nix at 12 and waiting until the fourth round to pick a wide receiver raising concerns.
