Zelenskyy Warns of Escalation into Global Conflict as Russia Plans for More Military Action in Ukraine

Russian President Vladimir Putin’s involvement in conflicts around the world and refusal to stop unless pressured by the US and China has caused concern among global leaders, including Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. In an interview with UK tabloid The Sun, Zelenskyy highlighted Russia’s role in training Hamas militants and its partnership with Iran, suggesting that Putin is deliberately instigating conflicts that could spiral out of control.

Zelenskyy emphasized the importance of China’s role in pressuring Russia, noting that China is not interested in the Middle East like Russia and Iran. He warned that Ukraine is at the center of the global risks of World War III and that Russia may continue to push until the US and China work together to confront the situation.

In addition to the threat posed by Russia, Zelenskyy acknowledged that Ukraine is facing challenges in garnering support from the US Congress and is unable to defend itself without assistance from Western countries. He stressed the implications of a potential defeat by Russia, warning that NATO countries could be next if Ukraine falls.

Zelenskyy’s remarks underscore the urgent need for international support in preventing further escalation of the conflict in Ukraine and deterring Russia from further aggression.
