West Seattle Crime Watch: Two Business Burglaries, Safe Found; Interrupted Car Prowler

West Seattle Reports Four Crime Incidents in One Day: Business Burglaries and Car Prowls

This morning, there were four crime reports in West Seattle. The first two incidents were business burglaries. At the Morgan Junction Domino’s, a crash-and-grab burglary occurred, with the safe being taken. Despite this, there was no significant damage to the business. Meanwhile, at A Pizza Mart, a pizza burglary occurred, but the time of the incident was not provided.

Later this afternoon, a safe was discovered dumped south of The Junction. A reader emailed in a photo and report about the safe, but it is unclear if it is the one stolen from Domino’s. The safe was found in an alley between California and 42nd, south of Edmunds.

Lastly, a car prowl was interrupted in the North Admiral/Schmitz Park area. The incident occurred just before 5 am when the suspect was seen checking car handles. However, the prowler was scared off by the neighbor before any theft occurred.
