Virginia Tech News: A new era commences as Corps Leadership and Military Science Constructing opens
Friday’s ceremony not only honored the unveiling of the Corps Leadership and Military Science Constructing but also celebrated the addition of Upper Quad Hall North, the newest cadet residence hall. This impressive 56,000-square-foot facility, which opened in August, delivers 301 new beds for cadets.
Cadets in regimental employees and 4th Battalion at the moment occupy the initial two floors and half of the third floor. The remaining half of the third floor and the whole fourth floor are designated for students who are not aspect of the corps.
As the regiment continues to develop towards its target of 1,400 cadets, the residence hall will at some point home cadets on all floors.
