Vigilance and Vaccinations: Staying Healthy During the Off-Season in Laredo

As the peak season of respiratory illnesses comes to an end, health officials are urging people to remain vigilant. The Laredo Health Department is strongly encouraging individuals to continue practicing preventive care by staying up-to-date with their vaccinations. Despite a decrease in infection and illness levels, Jaime Perez from Laredo Health emphasizes the importance of getting vaccinated to avoid getting sick.

The RSV vaccine is currently available for children aged 0 to 24 months until the end of the month for a $10 administration fee. Additionally, the flu vaccine will be available until June 30 for both adults and children.
