VA Finger Lakes Healthcare System’s Mental Health APRN Residency Program: Enhancing Diagnostic and Clinical Skills for Veteran-Centric Care

The VA Finger Lakes Healthcare System’s Mental Health APRN Residency aims to provide clinical experience in managing mental health conditions affecting the Veteran population. This program is designed to enhance diagnostic, psychiatric medication management, and psychotherapy skills while developing strong interprofessional collaboration and Veteran-centric care expertise.

The mission of this program is to prepare mental health Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRN’s) to deliver high-quality care for Veterans, including those in rural and underserved patient populations. Eligible applicants are encouraged to apply for the program, with the deadline being March 8, 2024.
