Overall health officials have reassured the public that riding public transportation remains secure amid issues about drug smoke and residue. This affirmation comes following a study carried out by the University of Washington, which analyzed samples collected on transit automobiles. The study identified that the levels of drug smoke and residue have been “extremely low.” The 5 transit agencies that sponsored the study, such as Sound Transit and King County Metro, are committed to implementing overall health and security improvements primarily based on the study’s findings and suggestions.
