Tria Health and National Drug Take Back Day: Marquette University’s Commitment to Public Safety

Marquette medical plan participants have access to Tria Health, a confidential and free service for employees and their families. Tria Health pharmacists can ensure that the medications being taken are safe, effective, and affordable.

As part of its commitment to public health and safety, Marquette University is participating in National Drug Take Back Day on Saturday, April 27. This annual event provides a secure method for disposing of unused medications, helping to reduce the accumulation of medications in homes that can pose risks to both the environment and public health.

Those interested in taking part in this initiative can gather information on acceptable items for collection and locate a nearby collection site. In addition, Marquette University Police Department has a drop box in the lobby available for 24 hours a day, seven days a week. By contributing to this effort beyond the designated day, participants can create a lasting impact on public health and safety at Marquette University.
