Students from Thomas College received awards at a business conference.

Thomas College Students Shine at International Business Conference, Earning Top Rankings and Awards

Recently, five Thomas College students competed in the Society for the Advancement of Management (SAM) International Business Conference. These students were Dan Brewer, Tanner Herrick, Jade Crowell, Preston Moody, and Addison Landon. The conference took place in Orlando, Florida.

At the conference, Thomas College students achieved top rankings in various categories. The team as a whole placed second overall and third in the case study presentation. Additionally, three students – Preston Moody, Jade Crowell, and Addison Landon – advanced to the finals of the Knowledge Bowl. Landon excelled, finishing in second place in this competition. Landon was also recognized as the top individual student performer at the conference. The students were coached by Thomas College professors Dr. Rick Saucier and Dr. Jono Anzalone.

The team from Thomas College participated in multiple categories of the competition, including a written case study, a case study presentation, a knowledge bowl, an extemporaneous speech, and a business pitch. The challenges were tough with over 200 colleges submitting student teams to the conference
