Workshop on the Influence of Technology on Child Development and Mental Health to Be Hosted by Leading Experts

Technology and Mental Well-Being of Children and Adolescents: A National Institute Workshop

On April 4th and 5th, the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) and the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) will host a workshop focused on the impact of technology and digital media on the development and mental well-being of children and adolescents.

The workshop will take place from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on April 4th and from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on April 5th, providing attendees with an in-depth look at both the positive and negative effects of technology on young minds.

Experts in technology, child development, and mental health will lead discussions at the event, exploring current research findings and discussing future directions in this field. Sponsored by the National Institute of Mental Health’s Division of Translational Research and NICHD, the workshop is open to both the scientific community and members of the general public interested in learning more about this important topic. To participate in this free event, registration is required prior to April 1st.
