A ship has grow to be stuck in Egypt’s Suez Canal, 1 of the world’s busiest shipping routes.
According to Leth Shipping Agency, the ship is the Xin Hai Tong 23, a 189m-extended bulk carrier that was constructed in 2010 and is sailing beneath the flag of Hong Kong.
The agency stated that tugboats are attempting to re-float it and at least 4 other vessels are stuck behind it.
The Suez Canal runs amongst Port Stated (Būr Sa’īd) on the Mediterranean Sea, and Suez (al-Suways) on the Red Sea.
It is just 200m wide at its narrowest point – a function that has brought on troubles for ships just before.
