Shaq Thompson’s Ankle Injury Will Hold Him Out for a Prolonged Period

Panthers head coach Frank Reich expressed his concern about the injury, mentioning that Thompson is anticipated to miss an extended period of time. The injury occurred when Panthers defensive lineman DeShawn Williams collided with Saints tackle Trevor Penning, causing Thompson to sustain the injury. Defensive tackle Derrick Brown acknowledged the influence of Thompson’s absence, stating that he is the leader of the group and his injury impacts every person.
