Saturday Electricity Prices Drop in Visual Representation

On Saturday, the taxable average price of electricity was about 11.3 cents per kilowatt hour, a slight drop from Thursday’s high of 24 cents per kilowatt hour. Despite low wind power production, the price of exchange electricity remained above 10 cents per kilowatt hour for most of the day on Saturday. However, it peaked at 16.12 cents per kilowatt hour including taxes after 5 p.m., and the lowest price was around midnight on Friday and Saturday when electricity cost about 7.3 cents per kilowatt hour including taxes.
