The reboot of the Arena Football League (AFL) is facing potential troubles following the discontinuation of operations by the Iowa Rampage team. In a press release on Thursday, the team owners blamed AFL Commissioner Lee Hutton and the league as a whole for not fulfilling promises made to them.
Issues such as delayed delivery of football equipment, jerseys, and camp gear, as well as the NFL Network backing out of televising games, were cited as reasons for the decision. The owners, Trevor Burdett and Mike Taliaferro, expressed disappointment in the failure of the league to support the revival of the AFL and the impact it has had on players across the United States.
The future of the Arena Football League remains uncertain, as the issues with the Rampage highlight potential challenges facing the league’s revival efforts. Following the announcement from the Rampage owners,
