Qatar Dominates India 3-0 in FIFA World Cup Qualifier Match Highlights

India faced a 3-0 defeat to Qatar in their FIFA World Cup 2026 Qualifier at the Kalinga stadium, Bhubaneswar. Despite a strong start, Qatar was able to maintain their lead and secure victory with goals from Mustafa Meshaal, Almoez Ali, and Yusuf Abdurisag.

Qatar dominated the match from the beginning, with Meshaal opening the scoring in the fourth minute by taking advantage of a loose ball in India’s box. However, despite their superior play, they were unable to extend their lead in the first half.

The second half saw Qatar continue to apply pressure on the Indian defense, with Akram Afif missing a close-range opportunity and causing trouble with his set-piece delivery. Amrinder Singh was able to save Afif’s shot but Ali was able to slide in and score just before full time. Substitute Yusuf Abdurisag added a third goal with a header at the near post.

India had few chances to score throughout the match, with players like Anirudh Thapa and Sahal Abdul Samad missing opportunities. However, despite their good performance in midfield, India’s forwards failed to trouble Qatar’s defense. The match can be relived through live streaming on the website.
