Prominent Art Exhibition ‘Luminance’ to Premiere at Artists Guild in Coming Month

Georgeanne Gaffney’s paintings will be on display at the Adirondack Artists Guild in Saranac Lake starting on Friday, Dec. 1. The exhibit, titled “Luminance,” features a wide range of subjects, sizes, and materials that convey a romantic and dreamy mood. Pieces in the exhibit include a large 8ft landscape on gilded panels and mini gilded water lily and floral pieces the size of a business card. The exhibit runs from Dec. 1 to Dec. 31, with a reception on Friday, Dec. 1 from 5-8 p.m. at the gallery.

The Adirondack Artists Guild is a cooperative retail art gallery located at 52 Main St in Saranac Lake that represents a diverse group of artists working in the Tri-Lakes region of the Adirondack Park. The gallery can be reached at 518-891-2615 and is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11 am until 5 pm and on Sundays from 11 am to 3 pm.
