Post-Game Shower Shortages: FedEx Field Struggles to Provide Hot Water in Locker Rooms
The Commanders’ 31-19 loss to the Giants left them in a bad mood, and the lack of hot water in both locker rooms only added to their frustration. The team confirmed that an equipment failure in the main water heater caused the issue, which couldn’t be resolved during the game without completely shutting off the water to the stadium. This is not the first time there have been issues with pipes at FedEx Field, but this time it left the players in need of a shower.
The Commanders spokesperson stated that the issue compounded a bad day for the home team, and they will need to find some other way to rinse away the stink of falling to 4-7 on the season. The team is now searching for alternative methods to wash off sweat and dirt after games, as they try to bounce back from their recent losses.
