Downtown Orrville Business Seeks Permission to Offer Tattoo Services in Salon

Orrville Updates: Tattoo Shops Proposed, Industrial Building Construction Approved, and Safety Measures in Place for Total Solar Eclipse

In Orrville, tattoo and body piercing shops are being proposed for the downtown area, with a public hearing scheduled to discuss this addition. Meanwhile, Genesis Beauty Salons are looking to expand their services by offering microblading, a semi-permanent eyebrow process that is categorized as a tattoo under Health Department regulations.

The sale of approximately 4.9 acres to GMEG LLC for the construction of an industrial building near Hostetler Road has also been approved by the council. As for safety concerns, the Orrville Fire Department will be conducting monthly tests of tornado sirens on the first Monday of each month starting from May 6. The city is also fully prepared for the upcoming total solar eclipse, with plans in place for potential traffic management and additional staff availability.

The next council meeting is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Monday, April 15 at City Hall where further discussions on these matters will take place.
