Falconara Marittima Hosts Pop Culture Festival

Open Mind, Open World: FalComics Festival Returns in 2024

In 2024, the FalComics festival will return to Falconara Marittima (AN) in the Marche region from May 24th to 26th. Initiated by Mayor Stefania Signorini and organized by LEG Live Emotion Group, this pop culture festival has grown into a recognized national and international event with the support of important partners such as Riot Games, Maxdevil, ECHO, Rai Kids, and Rai Radio Kids.

The theme for this year’s edition is “Open Mind.” This was chosen with input from the Municipal Council of Falconara and will be reflected in the various exhibitions and cultural areas on display. The main exhibition will feature works by illustrator artist Paolo Barbieri, along with school exhibitions and a special exhibition by Fabrizio Spadini. The festival area has expanded to 84,000 m2, with enhanced commercial and exhibitor areas as well as themed zones focusing on the oriental world, cosplay, K-pop, indie designers, and eSports.

Cultural areas will include the Movie Zone, Narrative & Fantasy Area, Comics & Science, and presentations by guests such as singer Mal, composer Guido De Angelis, psychologist Dr. Stefano Rossi, and video game expert Fabio Viola. The Main stage will host performances by Andrea Rock & Rebel Poets
