Bobby Johnson Reportedly Hired as Commanders’ Offensive Line Coach

New Offensive Line Coach and Linebackers Coach Joins Washington Commanders: A Look at Their Career Paths and Impact on the Team

The Washington Commanders have announced the addition of new coaches to their staff, including Bobby Johnson as the offensive line coach. Johnson brings a wealth of experience to the role having previously worked with the Giants.

Prior to joining the Commanders, Johnson spent two seasons as the offensive line coach with the Giants before being dismissed at the end of the 2023 season. He also has coaching experience with teams such as the Colts, Raiders, Lions, and Jaguars over the course of his career.

In addition to Johnson, Ken Norton Jr. has been named the team’s linebackers coach. Head coach Dan Quinn, who recently joined the team, has been busy filling key roles on his staff since taking on the position a couple of weeks ago.

Quinn is building a coaching staff with seasoned NFC East coaches, indicating a strategy to bring in experienced and knowledgeable individuals to help guide the team to success.
