CEO announced for local marketing technology firm

New CEO Brings Experience and Excitement to Marigold, Nashville’s Leading Marketing Technology Firm

Marigold, a marketing technology firm based in Nashville, has announced the appointment of Mike Gordon as CEO. Gordon, who is based in Boston but will be spending a significant amount of time in Nashville, comes to the company from ArisGlobal, where he served as CEO and specialized in clinical safety and regulatory solutions.

Before joining ArisGlobal, Gordon led Altus Group, a real estate asset group based in Toronto. He has extensive experience in both marketing and technology, making him an excellent fit for Marigold’s growing team.

Gordon’s appointment comes as a replacement for Wellford Dillard, who has been CEO of Marigold for seven years. Dillard will now be taking on the role of CEO at Avid, a media and entertainment technology company based in Burlington, Massachusetts. In a statement, Gordon expressed his excitement to continue the progress already made at Marigold and to provide innovative marketing solutions that surpass the expectations of global brands.

Formerly known as CM Group, Marigold rebranded in 2023 and currently has 100 employees in Nashville. The firm consists of various companies, including Campaign Monitor, Cheetah Digital, Emma in Nashville, Liveclicker, Sailthru
