Navy Federal Credit Union Highlights Top Sports Moments of the Week
The Navy sports program has a solid record of 103-57-9, resulting in a .636 win percentage. Although the men’s basketball team lost to UC San Diego last week, they will be back in action against San Diego later this week. The women’s basketball team also had a tough loss to Mount St. Mary’s but will have the opportunity to bounce back with games against Binghamton, Quinnipiac, and Abilene Christian.
Unfortunately, the men’s cross country season has come to an end, but the women’s swimming and diving team and rifle squad will have some time off this week with an idle schedule. The volleyball season has also wrapped up, and the water polo season has come to a close as well.
The football team will be looking forward to their next matchup against SMU. Men’s swimming and diving will also take a break from competition this week, while wrestling is also enjoying some time off. Overall, it’s been a successful season for Navy sports teams, and they are all excited for what lies ahead in the future.
