A leading gas station and convenience store chain, Murphy Oil Corporation, has secured a new lease in the Irmo area. The company will take over a property previously occupied by Wells Fargo Bank on St. Andrews Road.
With plans to open 30 to 35 new locations in 2024, Murphy Oil Corporation continues its expansion in the market. Operating over 1,700 gas stations and convenience stores across the country, the company is one of the largest independent retailers of gasoline products and convenience store merchandise in the United States.
The leased property in Irmo offers excellent visibility due to its location at a busy intersection of St. Andrews Road and Bush River Road in Irmo. State traffic count data indicates that approximately 17,000 vehicles pass by St. Andrews Road each day, with an additional 10,000 cars traveling along Bush River Road. This high traffic volume makes the location an attractive choice for Murphy Oil Corporation’s growth initiatives.
Murphy Oil Corporation already operates several gas stations throughout the Midlands, with a recent opening near Williams-Brice Stadium along Bluff Road. The company’s presence in this region continues to expand as it seeks to provide customers with quality fuel and convenient shopping experiences at its various locations across the country.
