Mekhi Becton Scheduled for MRI to Evaluate Ankle Injury

During Sunday’s game against the Bills, Jets left tackle Mekhi Becton sustained an ankle injury and was forced to exit the game. He did not return and was carted back to the locker room for further examination. Head coach Robert Saleh revealed that Becton would undergo more tests, including an MRI on Monday, to determine the extent of the injury. In his absence, rookie Carter Warren stepped in to fill the position. This season, the Jets have already used seven different offensive line combinations, and the results of Monday’s tests will determine if they will need to use an eighth combination for their upcoming game against the Dolphins on Friday.
