Medinaville Celebrates Small Business Saturday

Medina to Host Small Business Saturday on November 25th

Small Business Saturday, a national movement that promotes local businesses, is coming to Medina on November 25th. The event is part of the “Shop Small Movement” founded by American Express in 2010 and is dedicated to supporting small businesses and communities across the country.

In Medina, 90% of the business district store fronts are filled with local, independent retail shops, boutiques, restaurants and pubs and a wide range of services. To celebrate this diverse small business community, Medina will participate in Small Business Saturday on November 25th starting at 11 am. A table will be set up in the Huntington Bank lobby located at 39 Public Square with “Shop Small” handouts and info about Medina’s small business community. Santa will also be dropping by from noon-2 pm at Wichert Insurance, 119 N. Court St., to add an extra touch of festive cheer.

Main Street Medina has organized this event in partnership with local businesses to encourage shoppers to support their community by shopping locally during the holiday season.
