James Comer believes ‘6 to 7’ Biden family members members involved in overseas dealings

Property Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer believes that a lot more than half a dozen members of the Biden clan could have been involved in a variety of worldwide small business schemes that profited off their family members name. 

Comer, whose committee is investigating the Biden family’s small business dealings, shared the insight in a Wednesday evening interview with Fox News host Laura Ingraham.

“At the finish of this I believe we’re gonna see there are in all probability six or seven Biden family members members that had been involved in a variety of small business schemes about the globe,” Comer (R-Ky.) told Ingraham, referring to his panel’s far-reaching probe.

Comer didn’t mention any names in the interview and declined to reveal the identity of the unnamed Biden family members member who got proceeds from a $three million wire to Hunter Biden associate John “Rob” Walker  just weeks right after Joe Biden left the vice presidency in 2017.

The Oversight Committee chairman 1st revealed on Monday that bank records obtained through subpoena implicate 3 Bidens, which includes 1 that is “never prior to been identified” as becoming involved in the family’s alleged influence-peddling operation. 

“So this just shows how deep the Biden family members was involved in this influence peddling scheme,” Comer told Ingraham, adding that it remains unclear what the $three million transaction was for.

“It appears to me like these men and women, who are closely aligned with the Chinese Communist Celebration, sent $three million to a shell corporation then they turned about and split it 3 approaches with a third going to the Biden family members – 3 diverse family members members for no apparent purpose,” Comer stated. 

“They didn’t invest it in a small business. They just, it seems, stuck it in their pocket,” he added.

Comer also revealed throughout the interview that his committee is “on the hunt for about a dozen more” comparable shady wire transfers.  

“There’s no explanation for why the Biden’s have received this considerably revenue from our adversaries about the globe,” Comer argued. 

Property Oversight Committee employees are at the moment in the approach of reviewing a lot more than 150 suspicious activity reports sent by banks to the Treasury Division alerting of prospective criminal activity involving the Biden family members.

“Oversight Committee employees will commence reviewing suspicious activity reports in camera at the Treasury Division Wednesday afternoon,” a spokeswoman for the panel told The Post, utilizing a Latin phrase referring to a private evaluation.

The Treasury Division granted the oversight panel access to the suspicious activity reports on Monday right after reportedly attempting to stonewall the committee.

Republicans argue that the Biden family’s international small business offers make conflicts of interest for the commander-in-chief and could even demonstrate corruption.
