Ivan Dodig Secures Second Place in the Yearly Doubles Rankings

Croatian tennis star Ivan Dodig has finished the year as the second-best player in doubles, just 510 points behind the first-place American Austin Krajicek. Despite falling on the final step in Adelaide and Eastbourne, Dodig and his partner, Krajicek, won five tournaments this year, including the Rotterdam Open, Monte Carlo Masters tournament, Roland Garros, Queen’s Club tournament and Beijing ATP Finals.

Indian tennis player Rohan Bopanna will end the year as the third-ranked doubles player in the world. His partner Matthew Ebden will also finish in the top ten alongside Horacio Zeballos, Rajeev Ram, Joe Salisbury, Wesley Koolhof and Neal Skupski. The duo of Mate Pavić and Nikola Mektic ended their partnership a few months ago but still managed to finish in 32nd place together.

In singles competition, Novak Đoković dominated another season and finished as the number one player in the world. Carlos Alcaraz came in second place followed by Danilo Medvjedev and Jannik Sinner. Borna Ćorić ended up as the 37th-ranked tennis player in the world while Borna Gojo finished 72nd. Marin Čilić unfortunately dropped out of the Top 500.
