Israel strikes Hezbollah target in Lebanon following rocket barrage

Israel Launches Airstrikes on Hezbollah in Lebanon after Rockets Fired at Israel

In response to over a dozen rockets fired at northern Israel, the Israeli Army launched airstrikes on a military structure belonging to the Shiite militia party Hezbollah in southern Lebanon. Currently, there is no information on casualties resulting from the attacks.

According to a statement released by the Israeli Army, combat aircraft targeted the terrorist organization Hezbollah in the Mis al Jabal area, where terrorists were present. Similarly, Hezbollah claimed responsibility for the rocket attacks, stating that the target was a group of enemy soldiers. The Lebanese television network Al Manar, affiliated with Hezbollah, reported direct impacts from the rockets.

While the Israeli Army confirmed that 15 projectiles hit open areas near a military post in Menara, no casualties were reported. Air alerts were activated in the area to safeguard civilians. Additionally, Hezbollah announced the death of one of its members, Muhamad Ibrahim al Zein, in the recent clashes with Israel.

These incidents occurred against the backdrop of ongoing clashes between the Israeli Army and Hezbollah in southern Lebanon following attacks by the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) on Israeli territory, which resulted in numerous casualties and kidnappings. The situation remains tense as both sides continue to engage in conflict.
