The Aspen Institute has recently announced eight new speakers who will be joining the lineup for the upcoming Aspen Ideas: Health gathering in June. These speakers, along with over 150 leaders from various fields such as health care, public health, policy, business, and technology, will come together to discuss innovative approaches to addressing challenges in health, medicine, and science.
The three-day convention will take place on the main Aspen Institute campus and will feature a diverse range of speakers including Vivek Murthy, U.S. Surgeon General; Mandy Cohen, director of Centers for Disease Control and Prevention; Anne Wojcicki, co-founder and CEO of 23andMe; Peter Lee, president of Microsoft Research; Laura Deming, partner and founder of The Longevity Fund; Malama Tafuna’i, primary care physician and senior professional practice fellow at Va’a o Tautai; Barbara Natterson-Horowitz, professor of medicine at UCLA School of Medicine; and Joshua Roan, cellist and composer and creator of the Immunity Project.
Aspen Ideas: Health is set to take place from June 20-23 and will lead into the Aspen Ideas Festival which runs from June 23-29. Earlier this month saw the first group of speakers announced for the Aspen Ideas Festival including Jane Fonda and Bill Maher.
