Hvar Island Acquired by Prominent Arab Investor
The sale of the stunning Sunčani Hvar in Central Dalmatia to the Eagle Hills company from the United Arab Emirates, linked to Muhamed Alabar, is reportedly imminent. According to Jutarnji list, the decision was made by Radovan Vitek, the owner of CPI Property Group, and it is rumored that influential American fund Blackstone is also considering a takeover. The price of the sale has not been disclosed yet, and investors on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange eagerly await an announcement.
Muhamed Alabar’s investment in Belgrade on the Water project and his interest in developing Zagreb Manhattan project are notable. He is also known for his involvement in constructing iconic Burj Khalifa tower in Dubai. If everything proceeds as planned, a formidable tourism company will be established in Central Dalmatia.
