Helsinki Stock Exchange closes flat, SRV jumps over 14%

Helsinki Stock Exchange: Market Rises and Falls as Inzile, Valmet, and Fortum Make News

On Monday, the Helsinki Stock Exchange ended with a slight rise, with the general index closing at 9765.16 points, up 0.1 percent from the previous day. Approximately half of the most traded stocks were rising, while the other half were falling.

The most traded stock of the day was Inzile, whose share price increased by 4.0 percent to 25.67 euros. SRV Companies saw the strongest rise at the end of the day, with a share price increase of 14.3 percent to 4.89 euros. However, Tecnotree saw a decrease of 4.9 percent to 0.27 euros on Monday.

Valmet’s share ended with a 2.5 percent decrease to 24.18 euros, while Media Group PunaMusta Media announced changes in production that will result in layoffs later this week. Engine company Training announced an investment in filter cloth production in Brazil to meet demand from South American industries on Monday as well.

Tavaratalo Stockmann’s name change to Lindex Group was approved at its general meeting on Monday, taking effect immediately on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.

ICT company Loihti announced share issues related to staff incentives on Monday as well.

SSH Communications Security elected a new board member at its general meeting on Monday.

Construction company SRV Companies also elected new board members on Monday.
